We would like to update residents on the proposed development of three dwellings at the rear of 33-35 Great Pulteney Street. The site is currently used as a car park, is bounded by Sutton Street and Henrietta Mews, and is opposite Daniel Street.
PERA has submitted a detailed objection to the proposed development arguing that it will significantly harm the setting of the surrounding Grade I, Grade II* and Grade II Listed Buildings, and the Bathwick Conservation Area and World Heritage Site. Our submission can be found here.
As you will see, we argue that the development will destroy the local streetscape and many important local vistas, including those to and from the Holburne Museum to Henrietta Park, to and from Daniel Street to the rear of Great Pulteney Street, and to and from Henrietta Mews to the Pulteney Arms.
If you object to this development, we also encourage you to submit your objections to BANES via the Planning Portal. You can link to the relevant page on the Planning Portal HERE.
